1. Who we are

Luma Yacht (“Luma”, “we”, “us”) operates lumayacht.com and provides private yacht charters on the Bosphorus in Istanbul, Türkiye. We are a TÜRSAB-licensed travel agency (A Group #14316), operating since 2001. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it. It is written to align with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK No. 6698) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. The data we collect

We only collect what we need to answer your enquiry and arrange a charter:

• Enquiry & booking details you provide through our enquiry form or by message — typically your name, contact details (phone, email or WhatsApp number), your preferred date, group size, occasion and any notes about your charter.
• Messages you send us over WhatsApp, email or phone, and our replies.
• Technical & usage data collected automatically when you visit the site — such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring source — via cookies and analytics tools.

We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we do not ask for special-category data (such as health or financial card details) through this website.

3. How we use your data

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a charter quote.
• To arrange, confirm and deliver a charter you book, including boarding details.
• To communicate with you about your booking before, during and after your charter.
• To keep records required for our business and for legal or tax obligations.
